This year has certainly been a very challenging one for all, first with a Global Pandemic and then the back to back hurricanes, Laura and Delta, that have wreaked havoc for many in Southwest Louisiana. We hope and pray that you and your family are well and are dealing well with all the challenges. Not being able to hear well can only add to the stress for many.
We want you to know that we are here to help you during these difficult times. While we had to close our clinics on October 9th, due to the hurricane, we are happy to inform you that The Hearing Center has reopened with normal business hours (9AM – Noon and 1PM – 5PM), for curbside services (battery/filter pickup, repairs, cleanings), Telehealth, AND in-clinic appointments BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. For the patients who had previous appointments that were cancelled, we are working on calling you to reschedule, but we encourage you to call the number above to reschedule your appointment.
We are continuing to use the recommended precautions for the pandemic (masks, social distancing, and sanitization). Our office will remain locked during normal business hours—please remain in your car and call us to check in. For curbside services, we will come out to your car to get your hearing aids to perform repairs and check/cleans.
For in-clinic appointments, we will perform temperature checks and screenings upon arrival. All patients and guardians must wear a mask when entering the clinic. We want our patients to understand that we are doing everything we can to maintain safety for you our patients, and your families, as well as our staff and their families. All of our staff is trained to practice infection control in the best practice manner.
