Elizabeth McCutchen

Dr. McCutchen, originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas, received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Arkansas in 2016. She then completed her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in May of 2021. During her graduate school career, Dr. McCutchen developed a passion for patient rehabilitation and counseling. Her research, focused on the patient perception of hearing devices, fueled her passion for private audiology practice. Dr. McCutchen completed her externship at the Center for Hearing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. There she enjoyed working with patients of all ages and gained greater interest in industrial hearing conservation and treatment. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

When Dr. McCutchen is not working, she enjoys cooking, watching or attending any Arkansas Razorback sporting event, and exercising. She is excited to be a part of the Lake Charles community and is happy to have the opportunity to join The Hearing Center family!
