
Ram Nileshwar, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Nileshwar has been an audiologist in Lake Charles for more than 40 years. He has been with The Hearing Center since its inception in 1987. He received his bachelor’s degree in audiology and speech therapy from the University of Bombay, his master’s degree in audiology from Western Michigan University and his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University. Dr. Nileshwar is board certified in audiology by the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Nileshwar holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. He specializes in hearing re-habilitation, which includes the fitting of conventional and advanced digital hearing devices. He has expertise in diagnostic audiology and has received specialized training in the evaluation and management of tinnitus.
Dr. Nileshwar works closely with ear, nose and throat physicians along with other specialists and professionals from the medical community in southwest Louisiana. Dr. Nileshwar is past president of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Academy of Audiology.

Jordan Strong, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Strong is originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and studied communication sciences and disorders at the University of Mississippi, receiving her Bachelor of Science in 2016. She completed her Doctor of Audiology from Louisiana Tech University in 2020. Dr. Strong examined the accuracy of app based hearing testing compared to traditional audiometric testing, an aspect of audiology she is very passionate about, as her graduate research project. She completed her residency at Premier Medical Group in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Strong is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Strong is proud to be a part of such a dedicated group of professionals and excited to have the opportunity to get to know the patients at The Hearing Center of Lake Charles. She is looking forward to exploring Lake Charles with her husband and her two fur babies.

Elizabeth McCutchen, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. McCutchen, originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas, received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Arkansas in 2016. She then completed her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in May of 2021. During her graduate school career, Dr. McCutchen developed a passion for patient rehabilitation and counseling. Her research, focused on the patient perception of hearing devices, fueled her passion for private audiology practice. Dr. McCutchen completed her externship at the Center for Hearing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. There she enjoyed working with patients of all ages and gained greater interest in industrial hearing conservation and treatment. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
When Dr. McCutchen is not working, she enjoys cooking, watching or attending any Arkansas Razorback sporting event, and exercising. She is excited to be a part of the Lake Charles community and is happy to have the opportunity to join The Hearing Center family!
